The King’s Head

Intuitive and visually appealing website for The King’s Head Hotel, Ross-on-Wye.

Tailored to showcase its historic charm and offerings including accommodation, bar, and restaurant. Emphasised ease of navigation for users. Highlighted the establishment’s unique features such as locally sourced produce and hand-pulled real ales, including offerings from the onsite microbrewery, Corn Ales.

For the photography, I carefully analysed the King’s Head’s competitors and noticed a common trend: their imagery often featured empty tables, chairs, and rooms, which lacked warmth and appeal. Since food is inherently a social experience, I took a different approach. I visited the venue and personally asked patrons if they’d be comfortable having their photos featured on the new website. This added a genuine and authentic touch, capturing the lively, social atmosphere of the establishment and highlighting what truly sets it apart.
